 RUST-X VCI PLASTICS
VCI Plastic films made from LDPE are coextruded and contain specialized VCI chemicals that are impregnated and present on surface for enhanced long term rust protection. The use of VCI Plastics isolate the components from influx of humidity during the breathing action of the container, humidity transferred from corrugated boxes, wooden pallets which may cause corrosion of the components. |

Advantages
The conventional form of corrosion protectives have generally been oils. Oils provide the best surface protection but the pitfall lies that oils generally flow due to gravity and get absorbed or displaced by hands during packaging. Since corrugated boxes have starch present which is highly hygroscopic and absorbs moisture, the same is released when temperature rises. VCI Plastic will isolate external and internal environment by vaporizing and reacting with humidity present inside the packaging. VCI makes the inner atmosphere inert. It reaches cavities and places hard to reach by oil and even forms a protective layer on the surfaces where oil has sagged/flown or partially present.

VCI Bubble wraps - rust-x vci 706
|
VCI Bubble wraps are preferred where a packing is to be provided on the component to prevent scratches, impact and physical protection along with the prevention of rusting on the components.
These are available in the form of VCI Bags of the size of cartons, machinery, bags, sheets, roll form.
Bubble Wraps are highly resistant to dents that can be caused due to movement in loading or unloading. Air bubbles burst on impact and absorb the impact caused. VCI Chemicals coated release chemical providing atmospheric and surface protection.

3- Dimensional systems -VCI HDPE Reinforced paper pallet bags - RUST-X VCI 707
|
One of the important aspects of VCI packaging is to seal the outer atmosphere from the inside by using VCI plastic products such that there is no interaction of the outer atmosphere such as humidity, rains, fumes etc. with the inside of the packaging.
HDPE fabric reinforced paper is used to make 3-Dimensional pallet bags which are placed inside the pallets and provide physical barrier between the atmospheres. These bags can be custom made as per the pallet size, machine size or component size in case of large components.
The reinforced HDPE fabric provides excellent strength and puncture resistance to the packaging.These bags are then sealed using special VCI Tapes which provide excellent sealing of the edges.

| VCI PLASTICS are also used to manufacture VCI Carton and VCI Pallet Liners. These can be sealed using a heat sealer and provide a totally inert atmosphere to the packaged components. |
